San Francisco Chronicle!

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted here. I find blogging impossibly frustrating and hard to keep up with, so I'll just do a mass update. Book review illustration for Sorry Please Thank You by Charles Yu.

I'm also in charge of laying out the book review: it's fun trying to connect the illustrations with the layout and content. Here are a few of the layouts I was able to pull:

This one was my first Books cover, designed by Erick Wong
Julia Child!

I've been waiting for an excuse to put a giant robot in the paper.

I've done a few things for the style section:
Best 100 shops in San Francisco. And I did actually draw 100 different objects!!

Some hand-drawn type, new for me!

  1. Congrats! I'm just starting my journey in illustration and find you and your work very inspiring. And you're right, blogging is impossible to keep up with.
    Cheers!
